2 · Listen to the measured model
Reconstructed on the same source grid, with shared playback gain. Web Audio may resample for your output device. Selected partials use measured frequency, amplitude and center phase with Hann overlap-add. Residual always uses the complete extracted model. Uncovered edges may be zero; low-confidence attack fits can sound rough.
3 · Frequency over time
Color = FFT peak amplitude (dB relative to full scale). White paths = measured ridge centers; gaps are absent observations. Confidence is a spectral contrast heuristic, not a probability. Zero padding interpolates bins; it does not improve true resolution.
4 · Partial controls & cautious hypotheses
One pickup channel cannot uniquely separate string motion, pickup response or electronics. Harmonics alone do not establish nonlinearity. “Candidate” means compatible frequencies; ambiguous means competing matches. Residual is unexplained signal, not a measured pickup component.
